Healthcare access means being able to get the medical services you need - when you need them - without financial, systematic barriers standing in the way. This includes access to doctors, hospitals, medications, mental health services, preventive care, and emergency treatment.

However, Texas has a large population without health insurance and access to healthcare services is a significant concern.
